Landscape & Layers

A blue-green landscape connects the front and back of the book, joined by a dark spine. The artwork returns at each chapter opening, so the interior feels like part of the same object.

The invitation uses the same illustration and type colours, which brings the defence stationery together with the thesis itself.

My work covered the integration of cover typography, spine and artwork, the coordinated invitation bookmark, the propositions and the chapter and interior layout, and the bleed, spine and proof-file checks.

Original illustrations were supplied by the client. Names, titles and research content have been replaced with display text.
